(From the) TAITTIRIYA UPANISHAD

Written most likely in the 6th century BC.

The Taittiriya Upanishad includes verses that are partly prayers and benedictions, partly instruction on phonetics and praxis, partly advice on ethics and morals given to graduating students from ancient Vedic gurukulas (schools), partly a treatise on allegory, and partly philosophical instruction. ''What is needful?

Righteousness, and sacred learning and teaching.

Truth, and sacred learning and teaching.

Meditation, and sacred learning and teaching.

Self-control, and sacred learning and teaching.

Peace, and sacred learning and teaching.

Ritual, and sacred learning and teaching.

Humanity, and sacred learning and teaching.

"We are earth people on a spiritual journey to the stars. Our quest, our earth walk, is to look within, to know who we are, to see that we are connected to all things, that there is no separation, only in the mind." - Lakota Seer

From Atman - Brahman - in the beginning came space. From space came air. From air, fire. From fire, water. From water came solid earth. From earth came living plants. From plants food and seed; and from seed and food came a living being, man.

*

Who denies God, denies himself. Who affirms God, affirms himself.

Joy comes from God. Who could live and who could breathe if the joy of Brahman filled not the Universe.

*

If a man places a gulf between himself and God, this gulf will bring fear. But if a man finds the support of the Invisible and the Ineffable, he is free from fear...who knows the Joy of Brahman fears no more.''

    Genesis 1 (summarised)

    Let there be light

Let there be a dome in the midst of the waters

Let the waters under the sky be gathered

Let the earth put forth vegetation

    Let there be lights

Let the waters and skies be full of living creatures

Let the earth bring forth living creatures of every kind

I have given you every plant and tree yielding seed and fruit

Let us make humankind in our image

It is not good that the Human One should be alone.
