There are a fair few stories I could share that illustrate ''Reality is stranger than fiction'', (stories that also illustrate (to me) that how things are, is exactly how God intends them to be)...but I will share this one as it is a Christmas tale.
Many years ago we lived in a very old stone cottage in the mountains, far from any village. We had three children, ranging from newborn to 5 years old. We had no car and my husband used to hitch-hike to town once a week with a large duffel bag and get groceries...to be honest I don't know how we managed. I rarely went into a town and once a couple of years had elapsed since I had even been off the mountain! As the children were growing, however, we were thinking that maybe we could do with a car. One day about 2 weeks before Christmas, my husband's mother phoned to say she had an old Lada car which she was thinking of getting rid of, and that we could have it if we could afford the insurance. We lived on very little money at the time. The insurance company quoted us 1200 pounds as we had no driving history - it was an astronomical sum for our budget, completely unthinkable.
The same day we got the insurance quote - within a matter of hours - a friend of my husband phoned us, completely out of the blue, a guy he had not seen since boarding school. This friend was now a Hare Krishna and he had brought over a shipment of jewellery and art from India and he wondered if my husband would be interested in coming up to Belfast to help him sell it from a stall on the street. So, my husband packed up his kitbag and hitched to Belfast next morning, and I stayed on the mountain with the children.
He worked all the way up to Christmas Eve, sleeping in a hostel, and he had this money pouch that he kept tied around his waist. His payment for working was a percentage of the take on sales, so after every transaction he would stuff the percentage he had earned into the bag. Over the fortnight he took out whatever he needed for food and board and otherwise did not go near it. Before he came home on Christmas eve he bought the children their gifts from Santa, and me a bread crock which is something I had wanted. (Romantic, I know!)
He came home very late on Christmas eve, and after his supper he emptied out onto the table the bunched up notes and the load of coins he had been carrying around and he counted it. The total came to 1200 pounds and fifty pence. Enough left over for a Mars Bar, he said!

Left-handedness is significantly more common in persons who were born in the spring or early summer (March to July ( a period of 5 month ) .... that would be in astrology Pisces to Cancer )
On the societal level, left-handers might enjoy a selective advantage because of their increased interhemispheric connectivity, possibly leading to enhanced cognitive abilities, such as creativity and language skills.Greater interhemispheric connectivity in left-handers might account for the reported findings that left-handers are more likely to have an IQ score above 131 and to have exceptional mathematical ability for more : Understanding Left-Handedness

In astronomy, an analemma (/ˌænəˈlɛmə/; from Greekἀνάλημμαanalēmma "support")[a] is a diagram showing the variation of the position of the Sun in the sky over the course of a year, as viewed at a fixed time of day and from a fixed location on the Earth.
The Analemma is the figure 8 image we discovered based on the recording of positions of the sun seen at the same time and from the same fixed point throughout a full year.
The reason for this is because of two factors: firstly, the Earth is tilted on its axis at 23.5° in relation to the plane of its orbit going around the sun and secondly, the Earth doesn’t actually orbit the sun in a circle, but in an ellipse, which is a more elongated curve.

Heh, coincidentally I was skyping on Sunday with a pal of mine in Bulgaria and she told me all about a book she is reading - Beyond Atlantis, by Frank Joseph, which apparently goes in to the aquatic ape style theory. Since then I discovered Frank Joseph is a reprehensible sort, a Neo Nazi with pedophile predilections so I'm gonna completely ignore him. Still the theory is obviously out there.
Instead I will link to Thomas Sheridan's recent video on the Dogon tribe, also coincidental since I just watched it before you mentioned Dogon. Thomas is a hard to decipher chap, grouchy, irritable, a grumpy bollox according to a friend of mine who met him. He lives in a town nearby me, and someday I intend to meet him to see what's his story. Underneath all the hatred for Abrahamic religions, his affection for casting spells and his artistic rage, I reckon he has a good heart. Haha, seriously! At least he is a determined contrarian, which I admire."

many of Parravicini’s prophecies refer to the contact with extraterrestrial beings, which he names "astronavigator" (astronavego), "the Blue Beings" from the planet "KI--EN-KI", which have already been in the earth thousands of years ago and will be back "in their enormous fish shape red ships":
Interplanetary ships, invisible to the human eye, are coming right now to the earth. These beings, invisible to the human eye, have always coexisted in our planet, and they dwell in temples and convents because they are mystics and they try to impose the faith. (year 1939)

The shaman goes on to say that through his vision quest , he thought that the beings he saw were ET's when in fact they are originally from Earth and that they existed on Earth before their were Plants on Earth and lived in The Oceans ..... afterwards they left Earth .... but come back often .... the Botanist asked what do they look like .... the Shaman answers : Pulpo
