Cranks Granola

Porridge Oats 14 oz ~ 400g ( I use Baby Oats, but you can use Jumbo oats if you want. Not niblets or oat groats)

Sunflower Seeds 2 oz ~ 50g

Mixed Nuts, chopped 4 oz ~ 100g

Wheatgerm 4 oz ~ 100g

Desiccated Coconut 3 oz ~ 75g

Sesame Seeds 1 oz ~ 25g

Raw Brown Sugar 4 oz ~ 100g

Water 1/4 pt ~ 150 ml

Sunflower Oil 1/4 pt ~ 150 ml

Vanilla essence half teaspoon

Salt half teaspoon

(You can vary the nuts and  seeds mix and add dried fruit like chopped dates if you want.)

Mix all the first 7 dry ingredients together in a bowl.

Whisk together oil, water, vanilla and salt, and then pour over the other ingredients.

Mix really well.

Spread out the lot on a big baking tray or roasting tin. Bake at 375F or 190C for 20-30 minutes.

Check it every 10 minutes and stir up the cereal so that it is evenly roasting. Don't let it burn. YUM!
